like the jihadists i think certain groups are trying to create armageddon- maybe they believe in the ekpyrotic big bang model which posits that the universe instead of being a flat 10 dimensional sheet, that the universe instead is folded into 2 sheets opposite each other and if said sheets were within 1mm of each other a quantum fluctuation in the fabric of 1 sheet could contact a quantum fluctuation of the other sheet and cause the universe to roll up in a huge fiery explosion
they certainly have done their best to destroy the economy, try to repeat the great depression; congressional investigations showed they contributed to the great recession- and are trying to destroy the market-never thinking that after they have destroyed everything else they will have to turn on each other and destroy each other because what goes around eventually comes around- which of course they deny-even though even many crafters believe that
