You make it sound like they never even attempted an Evac prior to now?
After rereading your post you said the "mini-evac is a separate task" (from testing the slides?), which leads me to believe it (the mini) has never even been attempted before, since we never got past the slide issue.
You even added "of course" as if this is & always was obvious to everyone, it's not - unless I've been in my own world these past few weeks every post I've read and progress I've followed has this as part of the mini.
Don't get me wrong I appreciate the info especially if it clears up a misconception we've all had for months, but WTF, am I only one confused? The slides deployed and where tested, but that has nothing to do with the mini?
