One World Holdings, Inc. (OWOO) Continues to Grow Doll Brand through New Distribution Deals and Increased National Exposure
One World Holdings, through its wholly-owned subsidiary The One World Doll Project, is working to make a significant positive cultural impact through the development of its Prettie Girls!™ line of multi-cultural fashion dolls. Cofounded by former Mattel® designer Stacey McBride-Irby, the company designs dolls as unique works of art that capture the essence of positive values and attributes that all little girls can embrace.
Since its establishment in 2010, The One World Doll Project has made significant leaps in growth through its play and collector offerings. Retailers have been particularly receptive to the company’s business model as distribution agreements with top toy retailers including Toys“R”Us®, Walmart and, most recently, Amazon.com are already in place to help maximize brand exposure.
“As we continue to see a significant increase in product sales, this new business relationship with Amazon.com represents another component of our 2015 growth plan,” stated Trey Waldhauser, Vice President of Sales at The One World Doll Project.
The toy market throughout the United States represented an $18 billion industry in 2014, according to reports from the Toy Industry Association. The dolls category, in particular, represented a $2.32 billion portion of the industry, placing it among the top three subcategories in the entire toy market. As trends continue towards more realistic and culturally diverse dolls, the company’s uniquely designed offerings put it in a great position to grab substantial market share in the future.
The Prettie Girls!™ dolls have been gathering significant mainstream attention in the past few months. In December, the dolls made their national television debut on Fox’s popular daytime talk show The Real. In January, the company announced a partnership with actress Vivica A.
