OTTAWA, March 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Validian Corp. (VLDI), a leader in cyber-security technology, today is pleased to announce that it has significantly expanded its mobile device capabilities by expanding its unique addressing system to include all 16 possible configurations, an increase from the 8 configurations it was able to offer at the end of Q3 2014. These 16 possible configurations enable location, initiation and communication of data between mobile and/or non-mobile devices regardless of where in the world the mobile or non-mobile device is located and whether the device is located inside or outside a firewall.
The IP address of a mobile device changes constantly, sometimes several times a day, as it travels from one geographical location to another. This constant change of IP addresses causes a number of significant and expensive problems, including the high expense and inefficiency of roaming. It is also one of the reasons why current crypto policies and their encryption algorithms are very difficult and ineffective to implement into mobile applications and mobile devices.
