It seems a little odd to me as well. By cashing one investor's certificates, Peter would have to know it would cause a storm of investors wanting some cash. If Peter had such cash available to the company, wouldn't he be building our company up? Given all of the legal wiggle room he left in the statements on the certificates, he could have easily skated out of the commitment.
I hate to say it, but, I am finding it hard to believe vitamin sea's story.
In the grand scope of things, I believe Peter is either desperately looking for another opportunity, or, he is avoiding his day of reckoning. I don't think he is sitting in his office getting ready to write a bunch of checks to us gamblers...er...investors.
