Shares of Calithera Biosciences, Inc. (CALA) soared more than 35% in after-hours trading on Thursday, following the announcement of an exclusive global license agreement with TransTech Pharma, a clinical stage pharmaceutical company, granting CALA exclusive world-wide rights to research, develop and commercialize TransTech's portfolio of hexokinase II inhibitors.
Hexokinase II is the first enzyme in the pathway that enables cancer cells to convert glucose to energy and building blocks required for cancer cell growth.

After the closing bell on Thursday, YY Inc. (YY) reported stronger-than-expected quarterly results, driven by the strength of its online music and entertainment business.
For the fourth quarter 2014, YY posted net revenues of RMB1,170.6 million ($188.7 million), a 91.2% increase year over year, and non-GAAP net income of RMB410.8 million ($66.2 million), or RMB6.74 ($1.04) per diluted ADS, compared to non-GAAP net income of RMB216.9 million, or RMB3.63 per diluted ADS in the same period the prior year, topping the Capital IQ Consensus Estimate of $0.85 earnings per share on revenues of $181.1 million for the period
YY's 2014 net revenues increased 101.7% from the previous year to RMB3,678.4 million ($592.8 million). YY has more than doubled its total revenues every single year for the past nine consecutive years.
According to its business outlook for the first quarter of 2015, YY expects its net revenues to be between RMB1.06 billion and RMB1.08 billion, representing a year-over-year growth of approximately 59% to 62%.
