We represent $FLUX and the stock has been challenged because of limited news flow. There are two major issues - 1) Progress they are making is behind the scenes, it's the hard work of building name recognition, credibility, testing, and relationships with key OEMs, customers and the supply chain - distributors & equipment dealers. None of this critical work really lends itself to a release because it's not news until contracts or P/Os get signed. But validation by the largest forklift OEMs and a major global consumer packaged goods brand that is very well known, are very important reflections of their efforts.
2) the company has a bit of a catch 22 as far as raising capital - the share price is low and liquidity are limited, because of the limited news flow - and the ability to raise capital at attractive rates is related to the news flow and share price.
The solution - keep executing on the strategy - move as quickly as you can, to create the market and eventually get the sales pipeline initiated with orders they can announce. The current share base is around 100M which puts around a $6-7M market value on a company with significant growth potential with a proven technology & product.
What we can confirm is that there is growing excitement about their products because they really do solve challenges that the material handling industry has had to deal with for decades and has almost taken for granted - that batter performance is suboptimal because of the limitations of the lead-acid technology that is the industry standard.
Flux batteries perform better, improve efficiency and cost less over the long term because they 3x or more times the life of a lead-acid battery. Focusing on larger companies, Flux sees that they "get it" but it now take time to demonstrate the strength of Flux's products and their commitment to be a long term supplier and partner. There's really no short cut to putting the work you need to put in to make a customer prospect comfortable with doing business with you - particularly when a new company and new technology are involved.
But given the size of the addressable markets and the fact there are no real competitors showing up in the industrial battery space - targeting forklift & other material handling equipment, we think Flux is a very exciting story with major LT upside for those who don't mind being early and waiting for it to unfold.
