1/15/15 Discovery Provides Update on Hemp Seed Sale
MARINA DEL REY, CA / ACCESSWIRE / January 15, 2015 / Discovery Minerals LTD. (OTC Pink: DSCR) Discovery's joint venture partner AB AGRO has secured two potential seed purchasers for the sale of the 2014 harvested hemp seed. Currently both seed purchasers are still working their way through previous committed seed inventory. Despite the delays, both AB AGRO and Discovery anticipate a positive outcome and expect to book revenue from the sale of the harvested seed in the current quarter. Additional details will be provided as information becomes available.
AB AGRO has received notification that as of January 12, Health Canada has completed its review of AB AGRO's application for the 2015 growing season and confirmed the License. Discovery and AB AGRO are in discussions to extend their partnership into the 2015 growing season, and have already had several discussions with additional growing partners to increase overall growing acreage.
Discovery is currently in the process of finalizing the annual disclosure statement. With the completion of the annual filing, the company intends to commence the audit process of its two previous fiscal years, with the goal of becoming a fully reporting issuer.
