(Nasdaq: AMAG ) announced today the closing of its previously announced public offering of common stock, including the exercise in full by the underwriters of their option to purchase an additional 596,590 shares of common stock at the public offering price of $44.00 per share. The exercise of the underwriters' option brought the total number of shares of common stock sold by AMAG to 4,573,862 and increased the total gross proceeds raised in the offering to approximately $201.2 million, before deducting underwriting discounts, commissions and estimated expenses.
J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank Securities acted as joint book-running managers for the offering. Cowen and Company and Baird acted as co-managers for the offering.
