Agricultural industry leaders and economists gather to discuss supply and demand factors on the industry
NEW YORK, March 3, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- INTL FCStone Inc. (Nasdaq: INTL ) today announced that it will hold its 5th annual Agricultural & Economics Outlook Conference in combination with its Latin American Outlook Conference on Thursday and Friday, March 5 and 6 at the Vdara Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas.
The conference will focus on the array of critical factors that impact supply and demand for the world's agricultural commodities. Industry analysts and economists will join consultants from subsidiaries of INTL FCStone to discuss agriculture, grains, oilseeds, meat, cattle, energy, natural gas, fertilizer and weather in the major regions of the world.
Keynote speaker Blu Putnam, managing director and chief economist of CME Group, will begin the program with a global economic outlook at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 5. Day one will also include an overview of the effects of significant weather factors on the global economy by Drew Lerner, Weather World Inc., a look at the impact of the ever-changing Ukraine and Black Sea situation and agricultural trends in China. Day two will include an examination of the Brazilian markets, along with a variety of discussions on agriculture, from wheat to meat and cattle and fertilizer.
