According to techhive, sales in the US :

And if you're a football fanatic looking for a great big-screen Super Bowl viewing experience then right now there is nothing better than 4K TVs, shipments of which research firm IHS estimates will more than quadruple in 2015, going from 1.1 million units last year to 4.9 million units this year.
BIG uses 14 mln and 36 mln for 2014 and 2015 respectively, and as far as I know, Ultraflix is only available so far in the US and the UK, (and English speaking only if available elsewhere).

IHS is the source BIG has his numbers from I suppose , though he states it as being "Source: 4K market size (HIS Tech Research)"
Must be a typo.
IHS has also published these numbers Nov.25th:
Quote:That's again worldwide.
Although 4K TVs have been available for several years now, shipments in 2014 have significantly accelerated due to broader competition and more accessible price points activating new consumer groups. 4K TV shipments jumped more than 500% Y/Y in Q3’14 to top 3 million units, bringing total shipments to 6.4 million units in 2014.

So it might be too far fetched, and after all, it's just educated guesses.
And btw, content added since the last sharholder letter (Feb.6th), where it was again stated that "we are adding 50 titles a week", still stands at 8.
I guess we'll have to wait some more to get the 142 missing ones since these 3 weeks.
BTW: Seems like the Jet has a crush on Rakestar over on Ihub. LOL.
