BIG NTEK Update:
We had a very silent week. We all know what is coming next from the company it's just a matter of when at this point. Based on the various informal communications from the company as well as some verbiage used in the last shareholder update, leads us to believe that the next update will be a BIG one and possibly exclusive in nature.
During this silent period we have been doing more research relative to the market and revenue potential behind Ultraflix. The numbers are staggering folks and IMO are NOT a stretch. You will see the estimates we have used are pretty conservative.
4K TV Market
4K TVs Sold
2013 3,000,000
2014 14,000,000
*2015 36,000,000
TOTAL 53,000,000
Assume 50% of market can stream UF
Market: 26,500,000 units
Assume 5% of the UF market purchase UF streams
Market: 1,325,000 units
Assume 4 streams purchased by each TV at $9.99 per
Streams: 4
Total: 5,300,000
Cost: $9.99
Total: $53,000,000
Now let's assume the company lands some exclusive deals. If that occurs the 5% used above would be much higher IMO as UF would be the only place to go to view in 4K. I will use 15% instead of 5% and let's assume ONLY one rental per TV.
That changes the market from 1,325,000 units to 3,975,000 units.
Steams: 4
Total: 15,900,000
Cost: $9.99
Total: $158,841,000
$158.8MM in revenue folks!! And again I don't think these numbers are a stretch. That's revenues JUST from Ultraflix.
So the plain and simple goal is CONTENT and desired content and VERY AGGRESSIVE marketing and promotion of Ultraflix. I would find a way to get a $10 Ultraflix gift card in the hands of every person that buys a UHD 4K smart TV unit. Whore this product out like there is no tomorrow.
That is why I think we will see a very aggressive awareness campaign launched as soon as the content library is robust.
We start seeing blockbuster content its game on....
