Good Morning guys.
Right now I am just waiting to hear like the rest of you. I stayed up till 1 am but none of my phone contacts called in....still nothing as of yet.
From what firestream said....5 pops, and then a slide dragged into the hangar....that is what was supposed to happen.
Also, firestream did say that when they turned the lights back away and towards the plane, 5 slides could be seen on the ground.
5 of the 10 slides were to be deployed, and 1 was to be brought to the hangar for the ditching exercise.
So far everything firestream said sounds like a pass to me.....and if that is so, Baltia has spare replacement slides already packed and ready to be mounted on N706BL.
They expected to take today putting on the new slides and tomorrow to start the Proving Flights.
We are just going to have to see how this all plays out.
Perhaps firestream can make a couple of passes by N706BL today......just to see what is going on around her.
Beyond that.....I, like you guys, am just waiting for confirmation......but 5 slides deployed, 5 slides on the ground, and 1 taken back to the hangar sounds exactly like I heard a passing mini would progress....................
