"Would you also be interested in having the lead SEC investigator dismissed from their position entirely? A flood of letters to the SEC OIG might make that happen 
When someone in the government royally screws up they get "promoted" to a less threatening position. In this case the investigators new position should be clipping ticks from dogs balls"
