I think allot of people want to make more of the CEO transition than there really was, JMO, many use it to suit their agendas.
Never met him but did some back and forth on email, always struck me as odd that he just didn't seem to have his heart in the GRCU game, there was much discussion over the past year by many as to why, who knows.
I've hired many people over the years believing they were right for the job only to find out later I was wrong. There's no guarantee the best /most successful person will be able to transition into a new position until you give them a try, remember all the "Rookie CEO" postings.
Don't know for a fact but think GRCU came to grips with this and parted with RC on OK terms, I'm sure he learned much over the past year. I said when it happened, wish him well and let's move on.
As for comments WRT the GRCU BOD being intellectually bankrupt, unless I hear it directly from him it's just another agenda.
