You're partially right. This board was created to allow people to discuss what we were seeing with our investment without getting the questions or posts deleted by people that only wanted to paint a pretty picture. Most if not all of us on this board are longs and have had questions about the company for a while now. We couldn't have these discussions on the NTEK board so this is why we have this board.
We don't pull any punches here...no pun intended. We all have opinions and those opinions aren't deleted. As a reality check, this board used to be called something different and referenced NTEK in the name, but someone bitched/moaned/complained about it so it's now called Meow's Musings in homage to our friend Meow. If someone finds this board, they are working pretty damned hard to find us. No casual investor is going to find this board when researching NTEK as an investment.
As to it hurting our own investment, I doubt seriously we're doing a single thing to affect the PPS. We have been frustrated by all the misinformation we've seen over the years. Who wouldn't be? If you had seen or listened to the past two SHMs, and took these guys at their word on what they were doing, then where we are is a complete and total disappointment. I know the PPS is absolutely manipulated in some fashion, but even I don't think that's the whole story. Repeated missed dates of content, audited financials, products, communication... I have to say I'm impressed it hasn't dropped further than it has with their history of failed dates and lack of communication this past 12-18 months. If investors are doing their DD on the past history of NTEK, I really don't blame them for not investing. If NTEK had followed through with half the stuff they said they were doing, and were up front about everything, the PPS would reflect that follow through.
All that said, I am completely on board that the new management and new changes to the company/companies are putting us on the right track. That's my hope anyway. I think gagging anyone from discussing R&D items (no more misleading supertweets), and getting Jeff in a different position in the company, along with splitting off the gaming division so they could start reporting financials immediately (my assumption, not from any specific DD) will only help all of us in the end. I still believe they will eventually pull things together, but it's been one hell of a rough ride for a lot of us. GLTEveryone...except flippers and shorters.
