It’s important to note that the Q Inside Safety Technology is a complementary good to other implantable medical devices, so with each sale of one such device, there is an opportunity for VeriTeQ’s first-of-a-kind RFID technology to be sold as an addition. This isn’t to say that every implantable medical device sold will be coupled with Q Inside Safety Technology, but that’s the size of the overall market segment that is available to this type of technology.
