It's details like this, the actual quantity of content in this case, that sometimes uncover surprises when doing critical DD.
I am even more surprised that NTEK is so arrogant in giving out incorrect content info that can be verified very simply, by anyone.
Or are the people preparing the PRs just wildly guessing, based on misheard information from the content department ?
I don't know what is holding back larger investments. No clue at all.
Missing audits, broken promises, ... ?
I just think that it can't be the bashing on a forum that's causing this.
NTEK has a huge potential, I am sure, but there is just no interest right now in shares of the "next Netflix". Why ? What are they waiting for to step in ? Uplisting ?
NTEK is so much more than what it was a year ago. Yet it's only 1/5 the share price. Overhyped it has been by the company and pumpers alike, but still.
And what on earth is holding back the movies they so loudly announced in December, named by title and release date.
Distributors that backtracked ?
That's what's bothering me the most. Are they going to have the content (studio films) that will generate the most income ?
Much has been announced, but little has come to UF. Yet, as I wrote before, content is the bread and butter for NTEK right now.
Last year I also countered bashers over on Ihub when they claimed UF had nothing but crap content. Because it looked promising at the end of last year. But honestly, what successful movies have they got so far on UF ?
One Robocop, one Rocky, Fargo, The World's fastest Indian. That's it.
The rest is interesting, but will it generate sufficient revenue ? Will it attract clients ?
Is that what represents the acclaimed World's Largest Source of 4K Titles ?
Has 4K studios been concentrating on (cheap ?) Imax conversions so far ?
If BIG is right, it takes about $250K per film, not counting the 4K conversion to secure the rights for UF. Are maybe the UF revenues so far insufficient to provide for more hit movies ?
Maybe it's just too much questions unanswered.
Time will tell I guess.
And I still hope for better times to come.
Just my take (questions).
