Sentry Select Primary Metals Corp. (TSX: PME) announces a change to its monthly cash dividend

The Board of Directors (the "Board"
of Sentry Select Primary Metals Corp. (the "Corporation" (TSX: PME) announces that the Corporation's monthly cash dividend will be changed from its current rate of $0.045 per Class A share to $0.015 per Class A share. This change will be effective beginning with the monthly cash dividend payable on December 15, 2014 to shareholders of record on November 28, 2014 and will remain at this level until further guidance is provided by the Corporation. The Board believes that this dividend decrease is prudent and in the best interests of the Corporation and its shareholders given the current environment for gold mining equities. It is the view of Sentry Investments Inc. ("Sentry" , the manager of the Corporation, that primary gold supply cannot be maintained at current gold prices. It is also the view of Sentry that gold mining equities continue to trade at their lowest valuations relative to the gold price in 25 years and, as a result, present an excellent investment opportunity. It is the opinion of the Board that this dividend decrease should improve shareholders' potential total return by maintaining capital in the Corporation while continuing to provide a reasonable level of monthly cash payout. It is the intention of the Board, together with Sentry, to re-evaluate from time to time the Corporation's monthly dividend in the context of portfolio return expectations and to make further changes when it is believed to represent a net benefit to shareholders.
