They were expanding the mill from 60 tons a day to 500, iirc. More then 8 times the current amount and they could handle processing other mines ore as they'd have extra capacity.
Of course, once that mill was up and running, it's a sure thing the mine would have found a buyer or partner. Just the reason to kill the stock so it couldn't happen right?
