The District of Columbia Public Schools' Office of Teaching and Learning has chosen Questar Assessment Inc. to develop assessment items to be administered online for social studies assessment for sixth, seventh and eighth graders. The company will be developing new items and test forms that will measure student mastery of required D.C. Social Studies Content Standards, Common Core standards for English Language Arts & Literacy in History/Social Studies, as well as the College, Career, and Civic Life (C3) Framework for Social Studies State Standards.
