IMO there has been pressure on the Conservative government by their opposition (Liberals and NDP) to investigate CEN Biotech. There is an election coming up and they don't want this to be used against them and their MMPR program. They don't want to get the RCMP involved so they instructed HC to deal with it. HC issues a letter to CEN basically saying that you must address all allegations, issues and actions being taken to their satisfaction or they will reject CEN's application.
CEN has put in so much effort and money starting with their extensive and thorough application to HC to their fully finished, compliant and inspected facility in Lakeshore.
If you take the emotion out of it, IMO it is clear there have been less then professional conduct on just a few occassions but nothing to warrant what is happening.
There hasn't been any criminal activity. The company and CEO has complied with rules and regulations at all levels. There is so much documented in print, audio and video that shareholders, reporters, government officials and securities watchdogs should see that this company is transparent and compliant.
The PPS will dip as a result of what just happened and it will most likely not recover until there is word of the spin-off, PRs from CEN and/or a final decision from HC.
One thing is for certain, we have invested in a diversified company that will be reporting on what they have been working on in the last several months.
