Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/wb3r78/data_center) has announced the addition of the "Data Center Construction Market Forecasts and Trends. 2019 - Data Center Types, Design Types, Tier Types" report to their offering. The global data center construction market to grow from $14.59 billion in 2014 to $22.73 billion by 2019, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 9.3% The market for data center construction is thriving, and many companies have already started transforming their traditional datacenters into mega datacenter and many others are planning to build it in the coming years. Data center construction market with significant growth rate expected in the coming years presents potential opportunity for various vendors and operators in the datacenter industry. In the present scenario, rapidly increasing data traffic is driving the demand for data storage, which is resulting in continuous expansion of the global datacenter market. In order to accommodate this enormous amount of data, companies are forced to operate a number of datacenters, which may or may not be located in the same location. The cost associated with operating these datacenters is also high, resulting in reductions in the profit. Also, it is difficult for organizations to manage a number of datacenters running in different locations. So, many companies such as Facebook, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, and eBay prefer to operate few gigantic datacenters rather than small datacenters at multiple locations. These giant datacenters also offer local benefits such as low energy prices for large-scale consumption, tax benefits, and climatic advantages. In these datacenters, unwanted infrastructure is eliminated which reduces the operational complexity. So, with the continuously increasing demand for data storage across various industry verticals, organizations are forced to come up with massively scalable and cost-effective data storage solutions, so that the additional cost of adding thousands of users would be negligible.
