A provider of investment services Nuveen Investments disclosed on Wednesday that the boards of trustees of each of the closed-end funds, Nuveen Dividend Advantage Municipal Fund 3 (NYSE MKT:NZF); Nuveen Dividend Advantage Municipal Income Fund (NYSE MKT:NVG) Nuveen Municipal Advantage Fund Inc (NYSE:NMA); and Nuveen Quality Income Municipal Fund Inc (NYSE:NQU) authorised each to conduct a tender offer.

Nuveen Investments, a leading global provider of investment services to institutions as well as individual investors, today announced that the Board of Trustees of each of the closed-end funds listed below approved for each fund to conduct a tender offer to purchase up to 10 percent of its outstanding common shares for cash at a price per share equal to 98 percent of the net asset value per share as of the purchase date.
