U.S. & European Heart Valve Market Overview 2014
M2 - Tue Feb 10, 5:16AM CST
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/l83sqr/u_s_and_european) has announced the addition of the "U.S. & European Heart Valve Market" report to their offering. The surgical heart valve market consists of both mechanical and tissue heart valves. Tissue heart valves consist of stented, stentless and sutureless tissue heart valves. Stented heart valves have long been the industry standard; however, stentless and sutureless valves are expected to show a strong presence over the forecast period. A sutureless valve differs from traditional tissue heart valves in that it is self-anchoring and thus does not need to be sutured in place. Thus, sutureless heart valves require a shorter procedure time than traditional tissue heart valves, and are able to be delivered minimally invasively. The sutureless heart valve market is expected to increase its share approximately threefold. The market has a competitive landscape with each competitor having quality and clinically supported products available. A critical note for the surgical heart valve market is that the growth of the transcatheter heart valve implantation device market has not had a substantial impact on the demand for surgical heart valves, indicating that the various valve technologies treat different patient populations. Key Topics Covered: 1. Research Methodology 2. Heart Valve Device And Procedure Overview 3. U.S. Tissue Heart Valve Market 4. European Tissue Heart Valve Market 5. U.S. Mechanical Heart Valve Market 6. European Mechanical Heart Valve Market 7. U.S. Annuloplasty Repair Device Market 8. European Annuloplasty Repair Device Market 9.
