SEI Investments Company (NASDAQ: SEIC) today announced financial results for the fourth-quarter 2014. Diluted earnings per share were $.45 in fourth-quarter 2014 compared to $.37 in fourth-quarter 2013. Earnings were negatively affected by an after-tax charge of approximately $10.7 million related to the write down of an equity investment in a wealth services firm based in China. This charge was partially offset by the tax benefit derived from the reinstatement of the Research and Development Tax Credit during the fourth-quarter 2014 (see Fourth-Quarter Business Highlights for more information).
