Global Permanent Magnet Motor Market 2013-2020 - Motor Type, Magnet type, Power Range, Applications and Geography Analysis
M2 - Mon Jan 12, 8:15AM CST
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/p3spnh/global_permanent) has announced the addition of the "Global Permanent Magnet Motor Market (Motor Type, Magnet type, Power Range, Applications and Geography) - Size, Company Profiles, Segmentation and Forecast, 2013 - 2020" report to their offering. The Global Permanent Magnet Motor Market is to register a CAGR of 11.7% during the forecast period 2014 - 2020. The global demand for rare earth (RE) magnet materials, in 2012, accounted for 21% of all rare earth materials available. Presently, the permanent magnet AC and DC motors are increasingly used in factory automation applications such as robotics and material handling, amongst the others. The increasing use of permanent magnets, owing to its unique properties, subsequently, should supplement the growth of the permanent magnet motor market. In 2012, the increasing demand of permanent magnet motors across diverse sectors, led to disruption in its supply chain, further resulting in the scarcity of RE permanent magnets. This scarcity of RE permanent magnets adversely affected the permanent magnet motors market. Presently, stability in the supply of RE permanent magnets has led the market to recover its losses and regain its stability. China being the leading manufacturer of Permanent Magnet (PM) motors, owing to the country's natural abundance in rare earth materials, generates significant revenue from the exports of permanent magnets. Reduced field excitation losses resulting in increased performance of the motor leads to low energy consumption in operation of PM motors. Additionally, high power density, reliable performance, electric stability & durability along with simplified construction help in increasing its efficiency. Therefore, these motors are largely used in factory automations and other machinery tools since many years. With the advent of robots for material handling, and the requirement of high precision work with minimal errors, would help the PM motors market to grow exponentially over the years. PM motors are largely used in chip conveyors, elevators, oil reservoirs, coolant pumps, photocopy machines, etc. The rising demand of such applications is eventually increasing the demand of PM motors in numerous industries. The improved efficiency of PM motors and their integration in automobiles and electric cars, dynamically supplement the growth of the permanent magnet motors market, globally. The market is witnessing an increasing demand for permanent magnets from the countries with abundant resources of rare earth materials. China dominates the global market for rare earth magnets as it is the leading permanent magnet manufacturing country. China, comparatively manufactures PM motors at a lower cost as compared to other countries. The factors mentioned above would subsequently increase the manufacturing rate of PM motors and boost the market growth in future. Global Electric Motor Market Trends, Demand, Analysis, Opportunities, Segmentation and Forecast 2013-2020 - Motor Types, Applications, Output Power, Geography
M2 - Wed Nov 12, 4:11AM CST
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/fxfm5z/global_electric) has announced the addition of the "Global Electric Motor Market (Motor Types, Applications, Output Power, Geography) - Size, Global Trends, Demand, Analysis, Opportunities, Segmentation and Forecast, 2013 - 2020 " report to their offering. The electric motors market would reach $129 billion by 2020, registering CAGR of 5.0% during 2014 - 2020. The thriving market conditions can be attributed to the advent of low power consuming premium motors and the customizable application specific designs. After the success of standard electric motors, premium efficiency electric motors are driving the electric motors market as a whole. The rapid prototyping process of manufacturing energy efficient electric motors adopted by leading manufacturers would propel the growth of electric motors. Although expensive than conventional motors, the long term environmental benefits offered by the premium motors tend to outweigh the initial premium cost and increase the efficiency of the application by approximately 20% as compared to standard motors, which in-turn saves the cost of energy consumed. The demand for energy efficient electric motors can be attributed to factors such as growing consumption of electricity, rising automobiles production, home appliances and the electric motor driven systems. Moreover, the recent electric motor manufacturing standards i.e. the use of improved design, materials, and the manufacturing techniques that enable energy efficient motors to consume less electricity are encouraging the global motors manufacturers to develop energy efficient motors. Mergers and Acquisitions among the top players and the local players would further accelerate the growth and improve the services to the customers. Allied Motion Technologies Incorporation has recently acquired Globe Motors, a precision quality grade electric motor design and manufacturer, for a whopping $90 million. This acquisition helped the company to provide innovative products and customized solutions to the end-users. Scope of the Report Market by Type of Motors - Alternating Current (AC) Motor - - Synchronous AC Motor - - Induction AC Motor - Direct Current (DC) Motor - - Brushed DC Motor - - Brushless DC Motor - Hermetic Motors Market by Output Power - Integral Horsepower (IHP) Output - Fractional Horsepower (FHP) Output Market by Applications - Industrial Machinery - Motor Vehicles - Heating Ventilating and Cooling (HVAC) Equipment - Aerospace and Transportation - Household Appliances - Other Commercial Applications Companies Mentioned - ARC Systems, Inc - Allied Motion Technologies, Inc - Ametek Inc. - Asmo Co., Ltd. - Baldor Electric Company, Inc.
