Automotive Seatbelt Pre-tensioner Market in the Americas 2015-2019 with Autoliv, Delphi Automotive, Takata & TRW Automotive Holdings Dominating
M2 - Tue Feb 10, 10:46AM CST
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/9pt7dx/automotive) has announced the addition of the "Automotive Seatbelt Pre-tensioner Market in the Americas 2015-2019" report to their offering. The Automotive Seatbelt Pre-tensioner market in Americas to grow at a CAGR of 9.06% over the period 2014-2019 An automotive seatbelt pre-tensioner, a passive safety system, is activated when the installed sensors detect a rapid deceleration during an accident. It is used to manage an occupant's energy in a crash by pulling the driver and front-seat passenger firmly into their seats, thereby reducing the occupant's load in a violent crash. Automotive seatbelt pre-tensioners tighten the seatbelt during the first few fractions of a second in a crash. Increased adoption of automotive seatbelt pre-tensioners in low-cost and compact vehicles is one major trend emerging in the market. There has been a surge in automotive safety concerns among consumers from various economic classes which has resulted in the need for enhanced safety features across all automotive segments, such as the Low-cost and Compact Automotive segments. According to the report, increased demand for automotive safety systems is one of the major drivers of the market. Safety systems in vehicles prevent accidents during critical situations and protect passengers from injuries. Various active and passive automotive safety systems are actively used as passenger safety has become a prime concern for both automotive seatbelt pre-tensioners and automotive manufacturers. Further, the report states that an increase in average wage rates is one of the main challenges in the market. The increase in average wage rates results in increased manufacturing costs, which adversely affects the financial status of manufacturers. This leads to low profit margins of manufacturers and restricts their expenditure in R&D. Strategic Analysis Of Passenger Car Energy Recovery Systems Market 2014-2019: Passenger Car Type, Region, Regenerative Braking, Waste Heat Recovery System & By KERS
M2 - Thu Feb 05, 3:57AM CST
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/2q3zws/strategic) has announced the addition of the "Strategic Analysis Of Passenger Car Energy Recovery Systems Market By Passenger Car Type, By Region, By Regenerative Braking, By Waste Heat Recovery System & By KERS - Global Trends and forecast to 2019" report to their offering. The market is dominated by players such as Robert Bosch GmBH (Germany), Continental AG (Germany), Denso Corporation (Japan), and Faurecia (France). In 2013, Robert Bosch GmBH held the leading position in the market. An automotive energy recovery system is a system that harnesses the energy created by various functions of an automobile instead of letting it dissipate. This energy is then transformed and stored for immediate or later use. The recovered energy can be used to provide additional power to the engine or for the functioning of the vehicles' axillaries. The usage of the energy recovery systems in the current-generation automobile can be directly linked to the reduction of greenhouse gases (GHGs) and the optimization of the vehicle's powertrain. Regenerative Braking systems are devices that reduce the vehicle speed by converting a part of the kinetic energy into electrical energy. The energy captured through regenerative braking can be stored in any of the three following devices: an electrochemical battery, a flywheel or a regenerative fuel cell. Regenerative braking brings into use, the principal of an electric motor acting as a generator. It re-uses kinetic energy by using its electric motor to regenerate electricity. Kinetic energy recovery system is an automotive system for recovering a moving vehicle's kinetic energy when brakes are applied. The recovered energy is stored in a reservoir (a flywheel, battery, or a super capacitor) to be used later when the vehicle is under acceleration. Electrical systems use a motor-generator installed in the vehicle's transmission system, which converts mechanical energy into electrical charge. Once the energy has been harnessed, it is stored in a battery and used when required. Exhaust waste heat recovery systems are mainly used to convert the heat extracted from hot exhaust gases into electrical power. An average automobile converts only about a quarter of its fuel energy content into useful power so as to move the vehicle. The remaining energy is consumed by a variety of irreversible losses dominated by waste heat dissipation through the radiator and engine exhaust. This system converts this heat extracted from hot exhaust gases into electrical power, which can then be used to power the electrical systems in the vehicle or recharge the battery. The factors driving the growth of the market for the automotive energy recovery systems are an increase in fuel efficiency provided by these systems, improvement in vehicle performance, and lesser CO2 emissions by the vehicle. However, high cost of the system and its low adoption rates due to lack of awareness in the market are the key factors restraining the growth. In this report, the automotive energy recovery systems market covers the market for regenerative braking systems, exhaust heat waste recovery systems, and kinetic energy recovery systems in terms of regions such as Asia-Oceania, North America, Europe, and the Rest of the World ;and in terms of passenger car types such as electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles, and hybrid vehicles. Key Topics Covered: 1 Introduction 2 Research Methodology 3 Executive Summary 4 Premium Insights 5 Market Overview 6 Industry Trends 7 Automotive Energy Recovery Systems Market, By Regenerative Braking System 8 Automotive Energy Recovery Systems Market, By Waste Heat Recovery System 9 Automotive Energy Recovery Systems Market, By Kinetic Energy Recovery System Market 10 Competitive Landscape 11 Company Profiles - Continental Ag - Delphi Automotive PLC - Denso Corporation - Faurecia SA - Gentherm Incorporated - Panasonic - Ricardo PLC - Robert Bosch GMBH - TRW - Tenneco Inc. - Torotrak PLC For more information visit http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/2q3zws/strategic

Guide to the Electronics and PCB Industries in Eastern Europe and Former Soviet Union
M2 - Tue Feb 03, 3:19AM CST
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/s5ccqx/guide_to_the) has announced the addition of the "Guide to the Electronics and PCB Industries in Eastern Europe and Former Soviet Union" report to their offering. The report provides key facts for each of 16 selected countries in Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union. It is intended as a guide to companies wishing to do business in these countries and wanting to identify potential suppliers, potential clients or potential competition. The information presented includes electronics production value, PCB (Printed Circuit Board) production value and PCB market value for each country. Pie charts split out the electronics production by market. OEMs, EMS providers and PCB fabricators are listed for each country. Executive Summary: - The following countries are reviewed under the heading Eastern Europe: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. - Countries reviewed under the heading Former Soviet Union include: Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine. - Each chapter provides key facts for each one of the 16 countries including electronics production value accompanied by pie chart with market splits. OEMs, EMS providers and PCB fabricators are listed for each country. - Together, these countries accounted for electronics production worth EUR55 billion in 2013, for which the PCB market is estimated at slightly under EUR2.2 billion while total PCB production in this region is estimated at only EUR333 million. - Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union presents an interesting picture of a region in which many Eastern European countries, formerly aligned with the Soviet Union are now members of the EU while the remaining Russian satellite countries have trade agreements with both the EU and with Russia to greater or lesser extents. - An interesting point to emerge during the research, was how heavily concentrated the FSU aerospace industry was in Ukraine. Antonov is based in Kiev. KSAMC is in Kharkiv, north of the conflict zone in the east of Ukraine. Although Russia retained its nuclear industry after the split with Ukraine, the aerospace industry remained under Ukraine's governance. As Russia seeks to rebuild its technology base, there are parts of Ukraine which would enhance its capability if they were to return to Russian governance. - One of the smaller countries, Croatia joined the EU in 2013 as the 28th state. Its electronics industry is small with total production value estimated at 200m, and is dominated by industrial (industrial, instrumentation & control) and communications. FSC has identified only three very small board shops in Croatia: IDT-TIM, Markovac and Tiplon Printed Boards. These make single-sided and double-sided boards for prototypes only. - In contrast to Croatia, one of the largest electronics producers in the region, Poland, has grown faster during 2011-2013 than any of the other east European countries. The value of its electronics production in 2013 is estimated at EUR6.8 billion. It is home to most of the leading automotive OEMs and Tier 1 manufacturers as well as being a major production hub for white goods. Poland is also home to a dozen small PCB fabricators, all with annual revenues less than 10m and most less than 5m. Key Topics Covered: Section 1 Introduction Section 2 Bulgaria Section 3 Croatia, Bosnia & Herzogovinia Section 4 Czech Republic Section 5 Hungary Section 6 Macedonia Section 7 Poland Section 8 Romania Section 9 Serbia Section 10 Slovakia Section 11 Slovenia Section 12 Belarus Section 13 Estonia Section 14 Latvia Section 15 Lithuania Section 15 Moldova Section 16 Russia Section 17 Ukraine Companies Mentioned - Amica - BSH - Bosch - Continental - Elba - Electrolux - Emerson - Flextronics - Foxconn - Gorenje - Grupo Antolin - Hella - Honeywell - Indesit - Jabil - Panasonic - Philips - Samsung - Sanmina - TRW - Toshiba - Valeo - Videoton - Visteon - Whirlpool - Zollner For more information visit http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/s5...ide_to_the
