WordLogic Corp. (WLGC) Seeking to Springboard Off
Post# of 28
Apple Inc. has become so big that it can be considered its own national economy, and the rising tide does truly lift all ships connected to it. As Apple recently closed with a market value of more than $700 billion –$300 billion more than the next-highest-valued company, Exxon Mobil Corp. (NYSE: XOM) – the market valuations for many companies affiliated with the tech giant have also been seeing upward trends in their stock prices.
When it comes to tech companies, stock value is based largely on market share, and the more market share a company gets, the more visible is the brand and the higher demand that brand becomes because of its popularity. WordLogic Corp. (OTCQB: WLGC) is one of those companies that has been affiliated with Apple and is in position to thrive in the wake of Apple’s successes.
As Apple blew away expectations by posting the largest revenue quarter in corporate history – $18 billion in just three months – partly due to selling 75 million iPhone 6 models, those which have software that will enhance the user experience for those 75 million new iPhone owners are likely to get their own residual benefits. And despite all the commercial success, there are some users who still struggle with the virtual keyboard on the iPhone.
Compared to a physical keyboard, Apple mobile devices have a virtual keyboard that has not been known to be as reliable, and the auto-correct feature has gained a reputation in various social-media memes (not in a good way). WordLogic, however, is looking to make growth inroads by promoting its virtual-keyboard solution called the IKnowU keyboard, which would allow for better, more accurate and better-flowing keyboard experiences when sending e-mails or texting on a smartphone.
The IKnowU keyboard application, over time, will “learn” a user’s typing habits and preferences, and the more it is used the more accurate its predictive text will be. It can help a user type in phrases, contacts’ e-mail addresses or phone numbers, website addresses and more as it “learns” about the user. It can take the joy of an iPhone experience to a sublime level. And with the growth of the Apple ecosystem in the marketplace, there is a real growth opportunity for WordLogic Corp. to become the authoritative virtual keyboard application.
