(OTCQB: PUGE), announced today that its travel division has signed a distribution agreement with RoomsXML, a leading online accommodation provider based in India. Under the terms of the contract, Puget Technologies will resell RoomsXML's entire inventory of more than 80,000 hotels located in 1,000 destinations worldwide. Hotels include international chains such as Best Western, Cendant, Carlson, Hilton, Hyatt, Intercontinental, LaQuinta, Marriott, Starwood, and more.
According to the research firm Phocuswright, online booking revenue increased 9.2%, three times the growth rate of travel spending, in the last year. This growth is attributed to an influx of online travel consumers in developing countries.
