I do look at this from a simplistic view. Whatever comes out of the processor has to be more valuable than what went in. Even if that means going from something like garbage with a negative value to some worthless oil...but oil which isn't quite as worthless as the garbage from which it came.
Are you talking about getting rid of pollution as the secondary benefit? It seems that if a municipality is willing to pay more because they feel it reduces pollution then they could also pay PTOI that amount to convert the plastic. Mr. Bordynuik originally stated he would get paid by everyone to take garbage but in six years PTOI hasn't indicated they've found any source which is worthwhile to pyrolyize. That indicates to me PTOI hasn't found any situation where the process adds any value. If PTOI did, they would certainly announce it and make the stock skyrocket.
