GRAS THE STORY.....

Greenfield Farms Food Provides Overview of Carmela's Pizzeria Revenues

12/19/2013 @ 10:00AMGreenfield Farms Food Provides Overview of Carmela's Pizzeria Revenues
WEST PALM BEACH, FL--(Marketwired - Dec 19, 2013) - Greenfield Farms Food, Inc. ("Greenfield" or the "Company" (OTCQB: GRAS) announced today through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Carmela's Pizzeria CO, Inc., that its Ohio-based Carmela's Pizzeria units located in Centerville, Springboro and New Carlisle are currently achieving sales at a rate to realize an estimated aggregate of $2,000,000 (unaudited) in annual revenue for 2014, including sales from the addition of a fourth unit currently scheduled for opening this month.

It is important to note that the Company acquired the assets of Carmela's effective October 1, 2013, and therefore only the fourth quarter results for 2013 will be reflected in the Company's audited financial statements for the year ending December 31st. Also, the fourth unit scheduled for opening this month and its start-up costs will affect the final audited financials in both 2013 and 2014.

Ron Heineman, Chairman and CEO of Carmela's Pizzeria, said, "We are very pleased with the performance of the restaurants as they are comparable or in some cases exceed the typical numbers posted by similar franchise restaurants. In addition, we are working to enhance our numbers by adding additional profit centers such as Carmela's Treats and alcohol service in select locations." Heineman added, "These are exciting times for our expanding company. Our national franchise marketing program is quickly taking shape and we look forward to providing regular updates in the coming weeks ahead. In the meantime we want to wish all our loyal shareholders a safe and happy holiday season."
