(Nasdaq: ATRA ), a biopharmaceutical development company with a focus on innovative therapies for patients with debilitating diseases, today announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of 3,000,000 shares of its common stock. In addition, Atara Bio expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 450,000 shares. All of the shares in the offering will be sold by Atara Bio.
Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. are acting as joint book-running managers for the proposed offering. Jefferies LLC is acting as co-manager.
