Thank you Jerry for your reply. Pointing out the port authority changes from one calendar year to the next should point out to all the number of moving parts in this type of dealing. Thank you again for taking your time to explain this. It would be wonderful someday if it were possible for shareholders to see a flow chart of all the possible decision points that are involved in this type of commodity trading.
Again, thank you for taking your time to answer my questions.
Comment #1: It would be wonderful someday if it were possible for shareholders to see a flow chart of all the possible decision points that are involved in this type of commodity trading.
Response to comment #1: We are working with many suppliers and funders. Each supplier has its own set of procedures and logistics that they offer to a Buyer. We have produced several flow charts, for our Financiers, of the procedures which include decision points. Each flow chart is specific to that Seller of the product. As we bring in a Financier to fund the purchase and share in the profits, new steps must be added while staying tune with the Seller's procedures. These steps includes check points for the Financier. Below is a typical Flow Chart for a physical commodity trade on a CI, Dip and Pay basis:
Hope this helps understand the flow. Keep in mind that physical commodity trades have many moving parts. Even one step or procedure may entail many sub procedures or moving parts. Simple in form, complicated in process due to the many moving parts. No two physical commodity trades are identical. However, they may follow similar procedures. Should one moving part fall out of place, it causes delays, terminates the transaction or causes the process to start over again. A good analogy is to compare it to one standing at a Bus Stop. "If you miss one, there is always another one coming!!"
