Vilnius, Lithuania, 2015-02-09 16:19 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In the meeting of the Supervisory Board of AB Lietuvos Dujos (identification code 120059523, registered office placed at Aguonų str. 24, LT-03212 Vilnius, the data is collected and stored at the Register of Legal Entities) held on 9 February 2015, a new member of the Board of the Company was elected till the expiry of the term of office of the current Board. Dalius Svetulevičius, having held the post of the Head of Operational Management Department of Lietuvos Dujos up until now, was elected for the position.
The member of the Board Dalius Svetulevičius will also act as Director of the Gas Network Division of Lietuvos Dujos.
“My main goal is to ensure safe, reliable and uninterruptable gas supply to customers. Nearly eight and a half thousand kilometres of gas distribution pipelines throughout Lithuania are under our supervision. Even though gas distribution infrastructure owned by the Company is well-developed, it needs to be constantly renovated and investments into the construction of new pipelines must be made for us to be able to continue providing high-quality services to our current and future customers,” - said Dalius Svetulevičius.
Dalius Svetulevičius, having worked in Lietuvos Dujos for sixteen years now, graduated from the University of Vilnius, Faculty of Economics, with the Master’s Degree in Management and Business Administration. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Measurement Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology.

As from 9 February 2015, the Board of Lietuvos Dujos consists of the Chairman of the Board and CEO Liudas Liutkevičius, Director of the Service and Development Division Nemunas Biknius, Director of the Finance and Treasury Division Giedrė Glinskienė, Director of Organizational Development Division Valentina Birulienė and Director of the Gas Network Division Dalius Svetulevičius.
