Settlement between XVIVO and Vivoline XVIVO Perfus

XVIVO Perfusion AB (publ) initiated legal proceedings, claiming the right to three patents/patent applications owned by Vivoline Medical AB (publ) with regard to inventions made by Stig Steen. XVIVO Perfusion and Vivoline have now reached an agreement whereby, amongst other things, XVIVO Perfusion withdraws its claim at Lund District Court and compensates Vivoline for trial costs in the amount of approximately SEK 1.6 million. This sum will be charged to the first quarter of 2015. Through this agreement, the parties' differences in regard to the dispute have been definitively settled. The settlement does not affect XVIVO Perfusion’s current operations and strategy. The company's own products STEEN Solution™, which is protected by patents granted until 2021 (in the US until 2022), and Perfadex® are not part of the underlying dispute which the settlement applies to.
