So a public company gets a pass on logic?? I see

I hate to break this to you, but pyrolysis of everything from tires to plastic to switchgrass has been an "emerging sector" since at least the 1980's. The term 'oil' is synonymous with value in the minds of the general population and pyrolysis generally creates oil, along with gasses and char--that makes pyrolysis an ideal story to use to scam people, as swindlers have demonstrated for decades. There's just enough truth in the story to whet investors' appetites.
A number of posters, at least on IHub, have literally moved from one pyrolysis scam to the next. They pay their 'tuition' but the lesson doesn't seem to sink in so they repeat the class.
I don't know how long PTOI will keep the story going but I would strongly advise the investors in PTOI keep the hard-earned lesson in mind and recommend that they ask that the next pyrolysis company to provide evidence of value before they invest. So far there are zero companies, public or not, profitably producing oil from plastic...and every single investor in every single one of these pyrolysis start ups, scam or not, believes their company is leading the charge.
