The price of LinkedIn Corporation (LNKD) stock reached a new all-time high in after-hours trading on Thursday after the company delivered strong performance on its financial results, marking the 15th quarter in a row that LNKD's profit and sales have exceeded analysts' consensus estimates.
For the fourth quarter 2014, LNKD posted revenue of $643 million, a 44% increase year over year, and non-GAAP net income of $77 million (excluding non-recurring items), or $0.61 per diluted share, compared to non-GAAP net income of $48 million, or $0.39 per diluted share in the same period the prior year, these results better than the Capital IQ Consensus Estimate of $0.53 earnings per share on revenues of $617.34 million for the period.
For the first quarter 2015, LNKD expects revenue to be in the range of $618 million to $622 million, and non-GAAP EPS is expected to be approximately $0.53.
