(NEW YORK)--AlumiFuel Power Corp (OTC: AFPW), a developer of power management solutions for the agricultural and cannabis grow market, announced it has begun talks with two sizable cannabis companies regarding their RES power management system designed for marijuana growers.
Two growers have contacted the Company seeking off-grid power capabilities for large cannabis grow facilities, in the range of 40,000-50,000 sq. ft., in both the Midwest and Colorado. The entities the Company is currently in talks with are well funded, and the use of renewable energy technologies is something of high degree of interest in expanding their overall power needs.
When asked about the game plan for NovaFuel and cannabis growers, Mr. David Cade, President and CEO of NovoFuel commented, “These marketing initiatives signal our aggressive approach in seeking to extend our footprint in the rapidly expanding cannabis grow market. The recent positive feedback we have received regarding our technology, and how it can augment a current growers power demand needs have been growing rapidly in recent weeks, and we aim to showcase how our RES solutions can assist in reducing their overall power costs, while maintaining a safe and green energy back-up power management solution.”
AFPW building connections with growers in several states is an important aspect in validating those specific advanced technologies and products. The news that AFPW is now in talks, and possibly close to sealing a deal with a marijuana or cannabis grower sets the stage for possible explosive recognition f now just their technology, but AFPW stock as well.
AFPW stock currently has only around 42 million common shares issued and outstanding, thus giving the company a valuation of only around $200,000.
Grower Partnerships
There are a growing list of private growers in the booming medical marijuana market, but there is also a few public growers that could make for a great fit with AFPW, and their power management solutions. Some of these hemp and marijuana growers are Hemp, Inc. (OTC:HEMP), Algae International Group (OTC:ALGA), Discovery Minerals, Ltd. (OTC SCR), Easton Pharmacuticals, Inc. (OTC:EAPH), or IMD Companies, Inc. (OTC:ICBU) to name just a few.
Current Valuation
APW currently has around 50 million shares outstanding, giving the stock an extremely low market cap of less then $300,000. If the Company can score itself a partnership or joint venture with any public or private grower for their cannabis grow power management systems this stock could see some real rapid appreciation in its overall market cap value.
On Jan. 15, 2015, NovoFuel outlines its hybrid RES solutions include off-the-shelf solar, wind, lithium-ion battery, and hydrogen fuel cell power, as well as integrated energy management & control, and site security. The Company is currently weighing the comparative advantages of several different pilot site locations in Michigan, and with increased potential interest building from additional growers this could expand to other states where the growth of legal marijuana has been established.
