Someone posted the below article on FB and it went relatively un-discussed. That said, do not underestimate what is going on in the battle between the Liberal Party and Conservative Party. The Conservatives support medical marijuana only and put the MMPR in place as a means of regulating the industry. The Liberals have been fighting for full legalization and have been fighting against the MMPR. The Conservatives have been spending a ton of money to keep medical marijuana under the MMPR regime. The Liberals do not have that type of funding for this cause and IMO, they have latched onto Cen Biotech as a scapegoat to show that Health Canada and other regulators are not equipped to handle the responsibilities of the MMPR with the ultimate goal of repealing the MMPR in favor of full legalization.

In other words, our company that is simply fighting to get up and running has become a political football.
