Keweenaw Land Association, Limited Announces 2014 Fourth Quarter Earnings

Keweenaw Land Association, Limited (KEWL: OTC Pink) today reported timber sales of $3,007,195 for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2014, compared to $2,339,020 from the same period in 2013. Income from other sources during the quarter totaled $155,234, compared to $287,812 in the fourth quarter of 2013. Net income for the quarter totaled $438,669, or $0.34 per share, versus $292,453, or $0.23 per share, in the fourth quarter of 2013. Keweenaw recognized year-to-date net income of $855,860, or $0.66 per share, versus $706,142 year-to-date in 2013, or $0.55 a share. Keweenaw Land Association, Limited (Pink Sheets: KEWL) is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has elected Brian Glodowski, President of the Company, to the additional position of Chief Executive Officer, succeeding David Ayer who will continue as the non-executive Chairman of the Board. Mr. Glodowski has been with Keweenaw for over 20 years and has served as President of the Company since 2012. He previously oversaw the development and implementation of the log sales and marketing program until 2005, and then assumed responsibilities for the timber and land acquisition efforts prior to his promotion as Manager of Operations in 2011. Mr. Glodowski is an active member of the timberland industry, having been recently appointed to the Executive Committee of the Michigan Forest Products Council and will be serving on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Forestland Owners, based in Washington DC, beginning in 2015. Mr. Glodowski also serves on the Board of Directors for the Ironwood Industrial Development Corporation.
