I'm always amazed that people believe politicians

I'm always amazed that people believe politicians should be accountable for lying. They lie, they always have lied and will continue to lie. They are elected officials, who unless are caught breaking the law, will never be accountable other then on election day. Even then the statistics are staggering on those who lie/cheat while in office and still get re-elected.
