Photo Release -- Pittsburgh Corning Corporation Names Rosalie Bell Vice President, General Counsel

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Pittsburgh Corning Corporation has appointed Rosalie J. Bell as Vice President and General Counsel. Ms. Bell has served as General Counsel of Pittsburgh Corning Corporation since 2006.

Pittsburgh Corning ( www.pghcorning.com ) is a global manufacturer of specialized insulation and glass block products. Ms. Bell is the chief legal advisor for Pittsburgh Corning Corporation and Pittsburgh Corning Europe, functioning as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Assistant Secretary on a worldwide basis. She is responsible for setting the overall philosophy and strategy of the organization regarding legal matters and ensuring that all practices, policies, and business activities of the organizations fall within the bounds of the organization's legal postures. In addition, she serves as a Director of company subsidiaries worldwide.

Ms. Bell joined the Legal Department of Pittsburgh Corning Corporation in 1989 as a Corporate Paralegal. Throughout her 25-year career with the company, she has served in a series of legal roles with increasing responsibility, including Corporate Counsel, Senior Corporate Counsel and General Counsel. Before joining Pittsburgh Corning, she worked in the legal department of Westinghouse Electric Company.

A native of Pittsburgh Ms. Bell earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and a J.D. degree from Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh. She is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Westmoreland County Bar Association.
