I don't get you at all. You won't reply to me when

So, here goes another point of view to which I'm sure you'll have no courage to appropriately respond except to restate your original position.
Yes, on one hand, it's clearly a negative thing for Dan to no longer be with Marani. I felt his experience and connections were obviously a great thing for the company and hate he's gone.
On the other hand, what does it say about the company? How does his departure prove sales must be lagging, he's not happy, he thinks the company is a dead end, or any such thing? It doesn't prove that. Sure, you can believe that might be the case, but I offer a different reasonable scenario.
Though Dan enjoyed working at Marani, he was offered a great position elsewhere. Perhaps while he met with a distributor about Marani, they were so impressed with his skill and ability that they met with him later about working for them. They could offer more money and less risk...perhaps even less stress/work. Why wouldn't he take it? He knew Marani was a startup. He knew that he could do everything well and the company still fail. Why not take a better job if offered? Again, does that mean he expects Marani to fail or doesn't like the ownership or doesn't believe in the product? No. I do not know. You ("matthew berg" do not know.
I don't get why you belittle Marani "followers" for being shortsighted and incapable of seeing things clearly when all the while you do the exact same thing.
