dog, you've brought up a relevant point about moderation and how it should be used. It's important to distinguish between constructive criticism, concern, negative sentiment and wholesale libelous or defaming statements against a company or its employees. Let's add that some moderator(s) has sunk to sexual references; and by and large, it is tolerated and encouraged. The mods hear have zero problem with critique when there is substance behind it. However, I'm wondering, how much do poster enjoy seeing remarks such as, "this is a scam," or, "this is a POS," or, "I willl get this shut down by the SEC." Realize those are all TOS violations as they are repetative and add zero to the conversation, yet this SPAM, is encouraged and propagated by moderators.
Of course someone who has tens of thousands on the line is going to defend their investment. I'm wondering who in their right mind would invest in GRCU, then denigrate the company and risk their investment?? Nobody I know who is logical, comprhends what's at stake and wishes to support their dollars. Dog, I delete those posts more often then not. You do know that they are restored more often then not? That's not moderating, that's a clear attempt to use the written word to dupe inexperienced investors; and shame on them if they buy it, but the act of doing it and doing it incessantly is very apparent and very one sided. That's is not moderation.
Here positive comments and constructive criticism, worry and concern is allowed. You're right, I can like it or I can hate it and disagree with it, but if it has substance, if it adds to the conversation, if it's relevent, intelligent, logical and comprehensible, not matter the form, it stays.
Make no mistake though, this is a pro GRCU forum. We are here to discuss the topics, hope, dream, and yes, even criticize on occasion (ask DTL and MADD). We encourage that. With that being said, and me climbing down from my soap box, I do know this. Whether I like it, disagree with or completely dislike it, the dogs opinions are always welcome here. You have substance backed by intellect (accept the beer and OxyContin part; not wise).
For everyone else, if they don't like the rules, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. Sorry for the rant.
