(Nasdaq: VSAR ), an endocrine-focused biopharmaceutical company, today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 4,347,826 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $17.25 per share. In addition, Versartis has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 652,173 additional shares of common stock. The offering is expected to close on January 27, 2015, subject to customary closing conditions.
Citigroup and Credit Suisse are acting as joint book-running managers and representatives of the underwriters for the offering. Cowen and Company is also acting as a joint book-running manager. Canaccord Genuity and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey are acting as co-managers.
