Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc. (PNOW) Announces Non-Toxic Funding Campaign for Oveedia
Pure Hospitality Solutions, providing marketing and branding solutions to hotel operators and condominium owners, has launched a non-toxic funding campaign to raise additional capital for the company’s Central American-Caribbean online travel hub, Oveedia. Oveedia is the company’s unique travel website and booking engine, designed to assist the travel and tourism industry in the Internet-based support of reservations. It provides online help for consumers booking flights, hotels, holiday packages, insurance, and other services. The company has initiated the following:
• Courting of long-term investments (2-3 year horizon)
• Launching of multiple crowd-funding campaign initiatives ($1 million plus in 2015)
According to Pure Hospitality Solutions President, Melvin Pereira: “I have quickly come to find there are little to no friendly public finance vehicles available, to adequately fund the company’s development, without destroying market value and shareholder confidence. We have therefore moved to raise money for PURE’s technology initiatives, in a relatively private fashion – launching a non-toxic funding campaign to get us there.” Mr. Pereira continued, “We are currently working with an investor who is evaluating the Oveedia business model, and has in good faith, invested 5% of their proposed investment amount. We have also launched one of several crowd funding campaigns to secure other strategic, non-toxic capital. So, we are indeed well on our way.”
In addition, the company will also help stave off the toxicity of legacy debt by approaching smaller debt holders with an offer to structure more favorable terms. The move is hoped to stimulate both additional long-term capital investments and current note convertibility.
Mr. Pereira concluded, “Having recently engaged StartX to assist with ensuring Oveedia’s timely launch, I am positive that our crowd funding initiatives will quickly find traction and do well to secure significant capital. All, while increasing awareness of our Company, product and stock to the general public and future customers.”
