Investing in these stocks always presents risk, but there are certain tell tale signs that see that rebut the presumption of a scam: 1) buy back of shares and lowering the share structure. Scam pump and dumps usually print shares and then pump good news and then dump. The opposite has happened here. There has been a reduction of both the o/s and authorized. In order to do that, you have to pay. Joel has spend a lot of money buying back shares, and a lot of money filing paper work to lower the authorized share count. That is not indicative of scam relating to printing shares, quite on the contrary. 2) Joel has paid in cash the settling of a 100k debt note that would have further diluted 1 billion shares onto the market. Yet again, Joel using his own money to buy back existing debt to halt further dilution. Not only paying off existing debt is indicative of a company trying to improve their balance sheet, but it is also indicitavie of a company trying to control dilution, and promoting its elimination. 3) Joel has spent a crap load of money of a ball mill plant, which is being installed. I have no idea how much those go for, but I would say alot of money. 4) He has invited critics to go down and see operations and the mining sites. Do scam artists invite exposure? certainly not, thats why they hide like rats they are on the OTC's and just print shares. There has already been one person that has taken up Joels offer, see his twitter feed, and i would presume he has already gotten in contact with joel to set up a visit. What I see here is a person tha is trying his best to build a strong company from the ground floor up with limited resources, that being him. He has done a remarkable job so far, and time is going to tell whether or not he can seal the seal. I believe he can, and I think it will be soon. I think these Ghana updates are the most important updates in the companies history. This is just my opinion, and everybody can craft there own. Based on what I have seen thus far, I think this company will continue to succeed. For all those that spout off that this is a scam, sack up call the SEC, and file a complaint for a possible 10b-5 violation.
