All the noise about it is for a reason. Anyone else, who does care, want to chime in on how the CEO came to know about the shorts, what he did to protect shareholders, and now what he intends to do in the future.
If I were you I might care if only because other investors obviously do. In order to make a profit on any stock you have to consider who will buy it. Put simply, you see what happened to the share strucutre with the gagged TA (that's why many people abandoned the stock). How is that good for you as a shareholder that wants to sell your shares to someone?
Why would you not expect to find yourself, money, account, & company right back here if nothing changes. Everyone has heard of his big plans before, but if shorts were involved, then what has he learned and what will be different. Also, how is he creating shareholder value so that you can trade your shares at higher prices post R/S and loss from higher purchase price.
Something to THINK about. I do not mean to badger anyone. Honestly? Think about what I am saying. If you have thought it through then great, only thoughtfully intelligent, substantative posters need reply. If you haven't thought about this and you don't care- great!! Otherwise, maybe it is time to politely ask and see if you can receive an honest intelligble answer.
All the best to you all!
