Risk parameters for all commodity derivatives contracts have been updated. The update is based on a monthly review and an annual review of the liquidation periods used in the calculations of risk parameters.
The updated parameters will have impact on the calculation of the daily margin requirement for which collateral must be posted by 10:30 CET on Wednesday, January 21, 2015.
Overall, there is a decrease of margin curves and thus margin requirements for naked positions, however for some products margin curves are increased. Updated margin curves can be found here .
Details about the new risk parameters can also be found on our File Transfer Protocol (FTP) server.
The thresholds for margin concentration have been updated accordingly, see the Margin Concentration Policy attached to this mesage for details.
